North Shore Harmonizers

The OASIS program for the evening of June 17th at 7pm in Fellowship Hall is "The North Shore Harmonizers."

They are a woman's chorus dedicated to the art of singing four-part harmony in Barbershop and other a cappella styles. They have been in existence since 1952 and their membership includes women of all ages and from all walks of life in the Chicagoland area.

Barbershop harmony is an original American music form. It is a unique blend of voices- tenor, lead baritone and bass- singing without instrumental accompaniment. Originally, Barbershop singers were men, but women soon began creating their own harmonies. Today, women's Barbershop choruses and quartets are singing around the world.

Please join us for a very upbeat night of great voices and toe tapping. Refreshments will be served. We will also have a freewill offering.
