Pastor Christina Garrett Klein graduated with her Masters of Divinity degree in 2014 from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and comes to Edgebrook from Faith Lutheran Church in Homewood, IL. After completing her degrees in biology and psychology at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, Pastor Christina served as a youth and Christian education director in Northern Illinois, and heard God’s call to seminary through the voices of her confirmation students.
Her passions include children, youth, and family ministries, worship and music, and creating space for everyone to feel love and acceptance as children of God. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Keith, and her young children Rachel and Josephine.

Hailey Bianco is a current seminarian at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, pursuing a Master of Arts in Ministry degree. She came to Edgebrook after graduating with a B.A. in graphic design from North Park University in 2023. During undergrad, she heard her first call into ministry while working on summer staff at Covenant Point Bible Camp in Iron River, MI.
Hailey has a passion for creativity and cultivating inclusive spaces where everyone can experience God’s unconditional love. In her free time, she enjoys painting, hiking, cycling, and playing ultimate frisbee.
DAVID BUGHER (HE/HIM)
DIRECTOR OF MUSIC MINISTRY
David Bugher is a professional pianist and percussionist working out of Chicago since 2010. He holds two undergraduate degrees in music performance and education from Ball State University (2003) and a masters degree from both the University of Colorado at Boulder (2005) and DePaul University (2012). Performance credits include work with the Colorado Ballet, the Colorado Music Festival, Suena Latin Jazz, Psychedelic Blue and his featured piano duo Jenny and Dave.
Outside of teaching and performing, David enjoys cooking, reading science fiction and playing video games with his wife, Meghan, daughters, Cece and Rosie.
PAT GODEK
OFFICE MANAGER
Pat Godek worked for 22 years in Corporate Finance before coming to Edgebrook Lutheran Church. She keeps the office on schedule, greets guests and visitors, and is hospitable to individuals and groups that share the church space.
Pat lives in Edison Park with her husband, Paul and her dog, Charlie.
